Note 1: Although the manufacturer rates this for up to 36VDC, It is recommended to limit the operation voltage to 25VDC. The onboard regulators are operated to their limits when operated at 36V and may cause the board to fail with just short time usage.

Note 2: The manufacturer did not mention any protection feature, hence you should assume there is none. Do not short circuit the output and/or let the module run too hot.
